The gender pay gap is ever growing and little has changed to close this. On average, women recieve 27% less than their male counterparts, although this is greater in some areas.
'Close the ___' aims to bring this gap to the forefront, leaving people no option but to take notice and see the inequality in pay between men and women. 
Often we can be unaware of these inequalities, having 'tunnel vision' to problems which do not affect us or are not in our direct range of view. The campaign aims to change this, enabling people to see the problems they previously could not.
 Gaps and alterations in scale have been applied to the everyday to physically show the gender pay gap and the 27% less that women receive. As the everyday is familiar the changes have greater impact and leave people unable to ignore the issue anymore.
